The first phase of GI training came and went pretty fast. And as we brace ourselves for what is ahead of us, I thought I would share this with everyone.
I took a picture of my midsection at the end of each week starting from week one, and used it as a personal reference and marker on how I might have improved (or not) and how much more discipline and intensity I will need to put in. Here's a 4-week view.
I am ready and looking forward to Phase 2.
(Day 2 of tweaked customised menu)I am running low on fuel. The mental and physical lethargy is killing me.I know it'll take a few days for the body to adjust, but right now, I feel like a shiny car with an engine that requires major tuning, oiling, and some rocket fuel to move.Imagine my body to be that car that's using reserved fuel (the balance carb glycogen) to zip around obstacle courses on a race track (my 2-year-old twins!) Arghh!
Time to go take the balance of my supplements and douse myself with a gigantic cup of coffee (my spark plug!) Haha!
